Pricing
We are in beta. While we learn, every club and small charity uses Shoebox free, subject to fair use. The prices below are what will apply to registered charities afterwards; a charity that joins during the beta keeps the charity tier free.
- Bank statements and receipts read and reconciled to the penny
- One-page treasurer's report for the AGM, per year
- The full ledger, every line traced to the bank
- A handover note for the next treasurer
- Free now, and free later
- Everything in the club tier
- Receipts and payments accounts on the regulator's own form
- Trustees' annual report, drafted from your figures
- Independent examiner's report, ready to sign
- The annual return answers, filled in
- Examiner's portal: a private link for whoever examines
- Added to the charity tier: £79 and £159 all in
- Your pack checked and the examiner's report prepared by a person before it goes to your examiner (by arrangement while we are in pilot: ask first)
- Questions answered within two working days
How the band is decided
A year of bank statements is included whatever its size: one account or three, downloaded or photographed. The band only counts the receipts and invoices you upload, because that is the part that varies from one charity to the next, and the one thing you can count by looking at the shoebox. Up to 100 receipts is the small band and covers most small charities; up to 250 is the medium band. The app shows the count on the Review step before you pay anything. More than 250 receipts, or more than one year at a time, is priced by quote: reply to the email and say roughly what you have.
What you never pay for
- Checking. You see every figure, every tie to the bank, and every line we could not place, before any payment.
- Running it again after you add a statement or fix a line.
- Storage of your pack and your uploads for the year, so the next treasurer can start from it.
- Fixes. If something reads wrongly, tell us. During the pilot we look at every report and fix faults, usually the same day.
What it does not do
It does not file anything with a regulator, and it does not replace a charity's independent examiner. You download the pack, your examiner examines, your trustees approve, and you file as you always have.
